BOLIVIA: Morales gets a boost in legal battle

Bolivia’s former president Evo Morales (2006-2019), accused by prosecutors of human trafficking in relation to an alleged relationship with a teenage girl [WR-25-02], has spent the last seven months hunkering down in Chapare, the home of his coca union in Cochabamba department. He is preparing to finally leave this stronghold after a judge cancelled his arrest warrant on 30 April.
