*Argentina’s national statistics institute (Indec) has reported a fall in international tourism in April 2025, with 418,800 international tourists visiting the country, down 4.8% year-on-year. Overall, Argentina received 699,300 international visitors in April (-8.3% year-on-year), of which 280,500 were day-trippers (-13.1%). This is down from the 784,700 international visitors recorded
in March. The majority of tourists came from the neighbouring countries of Uruguay (18.7% of the total) and Brazil (18.5%), while 15% came from countries in Europe.
