BRAZIL | Industrial production stagnant in April. Brazil’s industrial production rose by 0.1% from March to April, according to figures released by the national statistics institute (Ibge) on 3 June. From January-April this year, only March registered a notable monthly rise in production (+1.2%). January, February, and April saw very slight increases of 0.1% or 0.2%. However, in year-on-year terms, industrial production in April 2025 was down 0.3%.
