ARGENTINA: CGT gears up for protests
On 21 July Argentina’s umbrella trade union movement Confederación General del Trabajo (CGT) announced that it would stage a march to protest against the austerity measures imposed by the government led by President Javier Milei to contain inflation and spending cuts to erase the fiscal deficit.
