PANAMA: Mulino seeks to boost ties with Japan

Panama’s President José Raúl Mulino paid a visit to Japan from 2-6 September, accompanied by a high-level delegation which included his ministers of foreign affairs (Javier Martínez-Acha), trade and industry (Julio Moltó), economy and finance (Felipe Chapman), and Canal affairs (José Ramón Icaza), among others. During his visit he met Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and participated in the Expo 2025 which is taking place in Osaka from 13 April to 13 October.
