MEXICO: Sheinbaum puts positive spin on economic challenges
Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum made her administration’s economic achievements a highlight of her first annual state-of-the-nation address, or Informe, which she delivered on 1 September. She used the report to highlight record levels of foreign direct investment (FDI), the country’s lowest level of inflation in almost five years, and one of the lowest levels of unemployment in the world, among other things.
