Weekly Report - 09 October 2025 (WR-25-40)

Segments of Bolivia’s ruling left-wing Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS) appear to be attempting to prevent the transfer of power after the second round of presidential elections on 19 October. Having suffered a crushing defeat in the 17 August first round and in the legislative elections, some within the MAS seem to be playing dirty in order to block an imminent swing to the right.
