historic milestone”. She highlighted as growth drivers, value-added sectors such as medical devices, as well as agriculture, food production, and manufacturing. According to a breakdown of Procomer figures cited by leading national daily
La Nación, medical devices accounted for 48% of goods exports, totalling US$10.93bn, up 25% on 2024. This was followed by agriculture (US$3.78bn) and the food industry (US$2.72bn) according to
La Nación which also cites Procomer figures showing that the US accounted for 47% of total goods exports, followed by Europe (21%), Central America (17%), Aisa (6%), the Caribbean (3%), and South America (2%).
