Daniel Noboa has travelled to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to attend the World Governments Summit and bilateral meetings with the UAE government. Noboa met yesterday with UAE President
Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and made the case for Emirati investment in strategic Ecuadorean sectors such as renewable energy and expanding opportunities for young Ecuadoreans, according to a government statement. Noboa’s speech at the summit also aimed to attract broader investor interest in Ecuador. According to a government social media post, Noboa
“highlighted Ecuador’s economic advances, reflected in the reduction of country risk, the strengthening of international reserves, the growth of exports, and the improvement in social indicators, which consolidate the country as a reliable partner for investment”.
