BRAZIL: Lower house leader signals support for labour reforms
On 9 February the centre-right president of Brazil’s lower chamber of congress, Hugo Motta (Republicanos), said that the chamber’s constitutional and justice committee (CCJ) will review stalled legislation which proposes ending the so-called ‘escala 6x1’, the norm of working six days a week.
