In brief: Guatemala’s inflation slows
*Guatemala’s national statistics institute (INE) has released new figures showing that monthly inflation in January was -0.18%, down from 0.07% registered in December 2025. In annual terms, inflation was 0.96%, down from 1.65% in December and the lowest annual rate of the past 12 months.
