*Mexico’s national statistics institute (Inegi) has released the results of its monthly survey on the manufacturing industry, showing a 0.1% drop in production in monthly terms in December but a 2.9% increase year-on-year. Employment in the manufacturing industry showed no variation in December as compared to the previous month but was down 2.6% on December 2025.
