In brief: Mexico’s vehicle sales down year-on-year in February
*Mexico’s national statistics institute (Inegi) has announced that sales of light vehicles fell by 0.3% in February in year-on-year terms, with 118,297 units sold. However, accumulated vehicle sales in January and February were up 4.4% compared to the same period in 2025, at 250,076 units. This was the strongest sales figure for the first two months of the year in the past decade.
