Colombia’s President Gustavo Petro has accused Ecuador of carrying out a cross-border bombing that he said left 27 people dead on Colombian territory. Although Petro’s comments were partially walked back by Defence Minister Pedro Sánchez, preliminary findings by the armed forces suggest that an unexploded bomb found on the Colombian side of the shared border was dropped by an Ecuadorean military plane.
