BRAZIL: Congress rejects report implicating Lula’s son in corruption scandal

On 28 March Brazil’s congress concluded its joint committee inquiry (CPMI) investigating the corruption scandal surrounding the national social security agency (INSS) that emerged last year, with the CPMI committee rejecting the final report presented by the inquiry's rapporteur, federal deputy Alfredo Gaspar, of the right-wing Partido Liberal (PL).
