BRAZIL: Gov’t officially submits supreme court nomination
On 1 April the office of Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva submitted the relevant documents to the senate to submit the nomination of the government’s solicitor general, Jorge Messias, to fill the vacant seat on the supreme court (STF).
