*Brazil’s national association for manufacturers of motorcycles and bicycles (Abraciclo) has released new figures showing that 561,448 motorcycles were produced in the first quarter of this year in the Polo Industrial de Manaus (PIM), the country’s main hub for motorcycle production. This quarterly result marks a 12.1% rise compared to Q1 last year. The month of March registered a record production figure of 212,716 motorcycles, up 29.6% on the previous month, and up 34.5% on the same month in 2025. Abraciclo also released updated sales figures, showing a total of 571,728 motorcycles sold in Brazil during Q1 2026. This is up 20.6% compared to Q1 2025. National motorcycle sales in March totalled 221,618 units, up 29.2% in monthly terms and up 33.5% year-on-year. Meanwhile, Brazil’s motorcycle exports in Q1 this year totalled 11,441 units, up 18.6% compared to Q1 last year.
