*Mexico’s central bank (Banxico) has released remittance figures for March 2026, announcing that remittances to the country totalled US$5.39bn. This represents a 4.9% increase year-on-year and is up from remittances of US$4.47bn in February. March represents the second consecutive month of annual increases in the remittance total, following an increase of 0.4% in February. In the first quarter of 2026, remittances totalled US$14.46bn, up 1.4% on the US$14.25bn received in Q1 2025. Remittance inflows
