BRAZIL: Legal team of Lula ally denies alleged Banco Master ties
On 22 June the legal counsel of Brazilian senator Jaques Wagner, of the ruling left-wing Partido dos Trabalhadores (PT), officially appealed against the recent decision by supreme court (STF) justice André Mendonça, the presiding judge of the high-profile Banco Master fraud investigation, to authorise a search warrant targeting the senator’s properties.
