MEXICO-US: Extradition for new kingpin-designate
Within four days of appearing among the new entries in the US `drug kingpin' list, Francisco Rafael Arellano Félix heard that he would be extradited to be tried in San Diego on a 1980 charge of jumping bail. Arellano, reputedly one of the leaders of the Tijuana cartel, has just served a sentence of 10 years and three months in Mexico.
