*Argentina’s national statistics institute (Indec) has released its latest figures for international tourism, showing that 612,800 international tourists visited Argentina in June, up 13.0% year-on-year, but down from the 675,100 who visited
in May. Of the total number, 283,600 were day-trippers, up 26.9% year-on-year, while 329,200 were tourists who stayed for at least one night, up 3.3% compared to June 2025. Of the total visitor numbers, 69.2% came from neighbouring countries: 30.8% of the total came from Brazil, 14.2% from Uruguay, and 12.8% from Chile.
