In brief: Brazil’s vehicle production rises

*Brazil’s national association of vehicle manufacturers (Anfavea) has released monthly production figures for July, showing a total of 235,900 vehicles were produced. This marks a 3.1% increase on the 246,100 units produced in June, and a 5.9% rise on the 239,800 units produced in July 2025. Anfavea’s figures also included the latest national sales results, which showed 279,500 vehicles sold in the domestic market in July. This is up 2.6% compared to 272,500 units sold in June, and up 14.9% on the 243,200 units sold in July last year. As regards vehicle exports, 39,300 vehicles were exported in July, up 6.8% in monthly terms but down 18.4% compared to July 2025.
