BRAZIL: US tariffs that could have been worse for Lula

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva had hoped a special rapport with his US counterpart would spare the South American giant another damaging tariff barrage from Washington. He was wrong. The administration of US President Donald Trump applied two sets of tariffs in July on thousands of Brazilian products.
