On 15 August Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum spoke out in defence of Mexican sovereignty, following the news that the US government had revoked the visa of Andrés Manuel López Beltrán, a son of Mexico’s former president Andrés Manuel López Obrador (2018-2024).
