In brief: Paraguay raises fuel prices

*Paraguay’s state-run oil company Petropar has announced another increase in the price of fuel. The latest increase means that diesel sold by state oil company Petropar will cost between G$10,300 (US$1.70) and G$8,290 per litre, while its 88-octane gasoline will cost G$6,990 per litre, 93-octane gasoline G$7,490 per litre, and 97-octane gasoline G$8,840 per litre. This follows other increases in May, April, and March.
