*Argentina’s national statistics institute (Indec) has released its latest figures for international tourism, showing that 830,200 international tourists visited Argentina in July, up 17.9% year-on-year, and up from the 612,800 who visited
in June. Of the total number, 363,900 were day-trippers, up 31.5% year-on-year, while 466,200 were tourists who stayed for at least one night, up 9.1% compared to July 2025. Of the visitors who stayed for longer than just a day trip, 168,300 came from Brazil, followed by 74,700 from Uruguay, 49,800 from Chile, 39,400 from Paraguay, and 34,600 from Europe.
