HONDURAS: Heads roll over high-profile acquittal
On 26 August Honduras’ attorney general’s office (MP) announced that two senior MP officials and an expert witness had been fired over the acquittal two days earlier of Amílcar Alexander ‘Chande’ Ardón Soriano, a former mayor (Partido Nacional, PN, 2006-2014), of El Paraíso, Copán department.
