In brief: Colombia’s trade deficit widens

*Colombia’s national statistics department (Dane) has released the latest balance of trade figures, showing a trade deficit of US$2.80bn for July. This was up from the US$2.16bn trade deficit registered in June, and the US$1.69bn trade deficit recorded in July 2025. Imports in July totalled US$7.49bn, while exports totalled US$4.69bn.
