*Brazil’s state-controlled oil company Petrobras has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mozambique’s state oil firm Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos (ENH) to establish the basis for strategic cooperation between the companies in the oil and gas sector. The agreement’s objectives include boosting cooperation on evaluation, development, and commercialisation, as well as the sharing of knowledge and the exchange of technical experience. The MoU is valid for two years, renewable by agreement. The deal comes amid Petrobras’ efforts to expand its international activities and partnerships, with the oil giant also signing a
production sharing contract last week with the government of the Ivory Coast.
