Bolivia’s judiciary is reeling from US allegations of narco-corruption that resulted in the arrest of Attorney General Roger Mariaca on 30 September. Mariaca was among 13 Bolivians targeted by US State Department visa restrictions two days earlier due to their alleged connections to drug trafficking or corruption.
