ST VINCENT & THE GRENADINES: ULP presents election budget

The ruling Unity Labour Party (ULP) in St Vincent & the Grenadines is likely to call an election this year, although it could delay until 28 March 2011. The budget presented to the House of Assembly on 19 January was widely seen as an electioneering budget, and the ULP will be hoping that this will help it follow the successful examples recently set by the re-election of the ruling parties in Dominica and in St Kitts & Nevis.
