EL SALVADOR: Economy rises up Funes's agenda

According to the latest opinion polls, most Salvadoreans think that 18 months into his term President Mauricio Funes is doing a decent job. The latest poll from LPG Datos, the market research arm of La Prensa Gráfica, a major newspaper in San Salvador, found that worries about the economic outlook was beginning to rival crime at the top of Salavdoreans' list of major concerns.
