PARAGUAY: Duarte's bid to fight corruption and lift economy

The new administration of President Nicanor Duarte Frutos, who was sworn in on 15 August, had an unenviable task upon taking over the reins of government. Paraguay's struggling economy, escalating debt and rampant corruption have been well documented. That said, Duarte appears to have made a good fist of his first 45 days in power.
