CUBA-US: Could Bush restrictions backfire at home?

The restrictions imposed by President George Bush Jr on travel to Cuba and financial support for families of Cuban expatriates living on the island have caused a deep rift in Miami's Cuban-American community - the constituency many analysts believe the Bush government was trying to please with the hardening of its stance towards Fidel Castro. There are those who go as far as to say that the measures may backfire electorally.
