PARAGUAY: Paraguay continues to battle the EPP

The New Year has seen a resurgence of activity by the self-proclaimed rebel group, Ejército del Pueblo Paraguayo (EPP). Since early January, there have been three bomb attacks, all allegedly claimed by the EPP. This comes after President Fernando Lugo launched a frontal military offensive against the EPP in 2010 that managed to produce some results.
