Haitian rebel Métayer finds the US very unfriendly

It is an article of faith in the Haitian left, and among likeminded people abroad, that the US was behind the rebellion that created the conditions for the ouster of President Jean-Bertrand Aristide. One of the prime movers of that rebellion, Buteur Métayer, has just discovered that, whatever the truth behind this assumption, he is not automatically considered a friend of the US.
