BOLIVIA | Gas production sharply up. Output of natural gas in the first quarter reached 122.6bn cubic feet, or 37% more than in the same period of 2004. Exports in March were running at 23.7m cubic feet per day to Brazil, and 5.9m cfd to Argentina. Of the QI gas production, 71.4% came from the deposits in Tarija, 17.5% from Santa Cruz, 9.2% from Cochabamba, and 1.9% from Chuquisaca.
