SUGAR: Brazil expects to benefit from sugar expertise

Brazil business is likely to benefit from the worldwide demand for ethanol. Brazilian companies own a lot of the technology involved in turning sugar into alcohol, besides the technology involved in flex-fuel engines. Companies making machinery for the sugar industry expect their exports to boom as countries such as China and the US step up their demand for more environmentally friendly fuels.
