COSTA RICA: Dollar likely to rise

An economic consultancy, Ecoanálisis, forecasts that the central bank is likely to revalue the colón against the dollar, and then continue with its comparatively new policy of a dirty float. This sets daily maximum and minimum prices for the dollar. When these levels are hit the central bank is obliged to intervene.
