PANAMA: US reiterates willingness over free trade agreement
President Martín Torrijos met Michael Leavitt, the US representative at the
inauguration of President Álvaro Colom of Guatemala, on 14 January. Leavitt
told Torrijos that the US was still keen on persuading the US congress to ratify
the free trade agreement.
