ARGENTINA: Consumption dips
There are signs that the long expansion in the economy is coming to
an end. On 12 June, private economic forecasters such as Latin Panel and Home
Research reported that consumption was falling. If these flash findings are born
out by official statistics, the economy could be encountering its first fall in
consumption since 2003.
