DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: New eco tourism focus

At the beginning of April local governments on both sides of the border between the Dominican Republic and Haiti agreed to coordinate their activities to promote environmentally friendly tourism. The focus of this effort will be a corridor along the Masacre River between Dajabon, in the northwest of the DR, and Ouanaminthe in the northeast of Haiti.
