NICARAGUA: Ortega reveals size of Venezuelan support
As part of an annual report on foreign cooperation, Nicaragua's
central bank (BCN) recently published figures detailing cooperation aid from
Venezuela. There has long been much speculation about the scale of Venezuela's
financial support for Nicaragua, largely because the government of President
Daniel Ortega has refused to publish the figures in the official budget.
