Supporters of President Hugo Chávez claim that the opposition and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) are behind the grenade-throwing at the Comisión Nacional de Telecomunicaciones last week and the explosion at an airbase on Sunday night. No-one was killed or injured in either incident, but both increased the tension across the country.
