MEXICO: Growth forecasts downgraded again

The consensus forecast for growth this year from the main economic forecasting organisations was cut again at the end of October. The consensus is now for growth this year of 1.4% down from 1.6%. The official estimate is still for 1.5% growth this year followed by 3% plus expansion in 2004. The independent consensus for growth of 3.24% in 2004.
