The police scored their first major success against the gangsters of the Primeiro Comando da Capital on Monday night when they raided what they said was a gangsters' knees-up at a restaurant in eastern São Paulo. The party was apparently called to celebrate the gangsters' successes against the police last week which killed at least three policemen.
