A third member of President Alvaro Uribe's cabinet has quit. This is the third resignation in the past week. Cecilia Rodrí­guez González-Rubio stepped down as minister for environment, housing, and development yesterday. She will be replaced by Sandra Suárez Pérez, who was hitherto a presidential adviser on Plan Colombia.
