COSTA RICA-NICARAGUA: Bolaños rattles sabres over San Juan river dispute

Nicaragua's response to the decision by Costa Rica to take a border dispute to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) has created a highly volatile situation which both governments may find hard to control. Nicaraguan President Enrique Bolaños has ordered the military to prevent 'by all means' any movement along the river by armed Costa Rican police.
