ARGENTINA: Another supreme court justice removed by impeachment

On 28 September the senate voted to remove from office Antonio Boggiano, the second supreme court justice impeached since President Néstor Kirchner took office in May 2003 (three others resigned to avoid facing impeachment). With the addition of a sixth justice who resigned invoking old age this purge has allowed the most comprehensive shakeup of any supreme court under an elected government.
