BOLIVIA-CHILE | Santiago offers unilateral liberalisation. At the most recent round of bilateral talks to extend the economic complementation agreement of 1993, the Chilean government offered Bolivia a unilateral reduction of tariffs across the board, except in those products covered by Chile's price-band system. The offer includes a 6,000-tonne quota of sugar at zero tariff. This is the latest of a series of moves made by Chile to rebuild relations with Bolivia.
